Editing, otherwise known as writer hell. Yes, I have to hide in a hotel mere miles from my house. But with how much I miss work travel right now, this might be like a vacation. Plus, I would do literally anything that does not involve homeschooling right now!

That’s dedication! I will lock myself in the former computer room (temporarily now a massively packed storage room) and mentally disappear into the job…It helps, however if I feel aggressive toward the work at hand instead of being in an easily distracted mood where everything seems too awesome to cut or reword… and the minute I waffle, I have to clean something (which I hate worse than editing… 🙂

That’s really something awesome to do; checking yourself in a hotel so you can focus on your writing. I wish you all the best with editing. And if it’s any consolation I’m reading along too, albeit slow…
